PLAN 1 - 6days/5nights


Day 1: New Delhi - Leh
Shanti Stupa

Board your flight from Delhi. Set your cameras on active mode. It's an hour journey, fly over the snow-capped Himalayas and as you look down from the aircraft, you can't stop yourself from saying "Wow!! This is amazing-Almost Heaven".
Arrive at Leh's Kushok Bakula Airport, World's highest airport. Our chauffeur would drive you to your guesthouse in Leh. Check in to the room styled in an elegant fashion and fully equipped with high quality modern amenities. We advise rest to get acclimatized to the high altitude of Ladakh, altitude sickness is for real. 
Before sunset, visit Shanti Stupa and enjoy the breath-taking views of the scenic city. Watch as the sky changes hues, and put shutterbugs to use. After reaching back to the guest house, enjoy Ladakhi cultural dance and music show along with fresh organic food and then overnight stay.

Day 2: Monastery tour
Buddha-Thikshey Gompa

Wake up to a delicious breakfast of fresh coffee and Ladakhi breads. Head off for the monastery circuit. One and a half hour drive away from Leh is Hemis Gompa, the largest monastery of Ladakh. Surrounded by the mountain walls, Hemis is one of the oldest and the wealthiest monastery in India and famous for its rich collection of ancient remnants like copper Buddha, stupas of gold and silver, murals and various artifacts. Half an hour from Hemis is beautiful Thikshey Gompa. Here you’ll see the life of a monk, their kitchen, dining hall, library and study room. The panoramic view of Ladakh from Thikshey is just mind blowing. And from your camera lens, it will look even more beautiful. Have lunch at Thikshey.
Next,visit Druk Padma Karpo Institute, also famous as the "3 Idiots school" or "Rancho's school". Meet and interact with the young Ranchos here. Spot all shoot locations of the film, wave from Chatur's window, and get yourselves clicked with the red cheeked, beautiful Ladakhi students. The school is located in Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh. Also visit Shey palace and Gompa. See the beautiful Sindhu Ghat.
On the way back to Leh, visit "Hall of Fame", a glorious museum made by the Indian Army. Stop by in Leh Bazar for souvenir shopping. Overnight stay at the guest house after a fun filled long day. 

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-la Pass

Leave early morning for Nubra valley via the world's highest motorable road- Khardung-la Pass. Enjoy snow fighting and clicking fun pictures at Khardung-la
Nubra is also popular as the valley of flowers, its love at first sight with the beautiful vast valley for every visitor. Proceed towards the white sand dunes of Hunder valley, ride on the unique Bactrian (double humped) camels. Check out the magical hot springs at Panamik. Enjoy the evening with some music and food. Stay overnight at the comfortable hotel or Swiss camp in Nubra.

Day 4: Nubra to Leh
Diskit Monastery

After a wonderful stay at Nubra, it’s time to move back to Leh. But, before that visit Hunder village and Diskit monasetry and see its 80ft tall statue of Lord Buddha.In the evening, explore Leh Bazar, visit Chokhang Vihara and Leh Mosque. Come back to the guesthouse and enjoy yummy food. Stay overnight.

Day 5: Pangong Lake
Pangong Lake

Early morning, drive to one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Pangong Lake needs no introduction and thanks to "3 Idiots" for that. Pass picturesque Indus valley by side valley of Chemrey and Sakti. Cross Chang-la pass. And if lucky, you may get glimpses of the wild life here-horses, yakwild-ass, ibex and Himalayan marmot.  
Pangong Lake is 14,000 ft above sea level. It is 6-7 kilometre wide and over 130km long, bisected by the international Indo-China border. The beauty of Pangong is just unimaginable and you would want to capture it into your cameras and eyes from every angle. Experience the peace and silence that you had been craving for, just by looking at the color changing lake. Spend some quality time at Pangong Lake and after lunch, move back to Leh. Come back to your guesthouse for freshly cooked food and a night of calm sleep.

Day 6: Leh to Delhi

Day6: Lamayuru-Alchi-Likir
Lamayuru Monastery


After breakfast, leave for Lamayuru, which is situated 127km west to the Leh town. Lamayuru is also famous as The Moon Land because of the Lunar like landscapes near Lamayuru village. Visit Lamayuru monastery, made up of a number of shrines and also has a very rich collection of thankas and magnificent wall paintings.
Also visit Alchi monastery, famous for its 10000 AD Indian style Buddha paintings. See free standing 9ft lord Buddha statue of Likir monastery.
En route to Leh, see Indus-Zanskar Sangam, the magical Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib.
Dinner and overnight stay at the guesthouse.

Day6: White water rafting in river Zanskar from Chilling to Nimo(Grade 3)

Okay, today is going to be the most adventurous day of the tour, the day to get that adrenalin rush.
Rafting in Ladakh is all together a different experience that you can't have anywhere else in the world. Enjoy the spectacular landscapes, old monasteries, wildlife, riverside villages, and the ice cold water. These 2-1/2hrs are filled with loads of fun and adventure.
After having lunch at Nimo, drive back to Leh. En route see the magical Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Dinner and overnight stay at the guesthouse.

Day7: Leh to Delhi

After a wonderful trip, it’s time to say bye to Ladakh. With amazing pictures, beautiful memories and packed bags, board the flight for Delhi
